In the morning of September 23, 2020, Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn (the governor of Tourism Authority of Thailand: TAT), Dr. Pun-Arj Chairatana (the director of National Innovation Agency: NIA), and Ms. Siriya Thepcharoen (the director of Institute of Artificial Innovation: IAI) signed the MOU of the New Normal Tourism: Stay Safe by SHA × SafeT project at Movenpick Residences Ekkamai 63, in order to restore Thailand’s tourism to be bustling again on the basis of the new normal tourism standards.

          By merging the “SafeT” platform with the “SHA” standard in a co-creation style named “SHA x SafeT”, SHA certified establishments will be pinned on the SafeT platform map and allow tourists to conveniently search and go to the SHA certified tourist attractions and establishments.

          SafeT is the first platform in Thailand that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) technology with the tourism industry. It is a crucial tool that informs tourists of safe tourist attractions, so users can travel confidently. A function named “SafeT Place” is able to check whether a tourist attraction is safe or not and ensures tourists’ confidence in traveling.
